Hi! I’m Jemile.

I’ve been at this mom thing for decades—three kids, across the 90s, Y2Kish, and the 2010s. It’s messy, chaotic, sometimes hilarious, but it’s mine. I started young, raising my first in the middle of Brooklyn, and now I’m rooted in the Hudson Valley—balancing family, work, and trying to live with more intention. These days I’m chasing the moments that matter, finding joy where it shows up, and letting go of the rest.

This space? It’s my version of an old-school zine. Nothing polished, no sugar-coating. Just real life, the way it actually feels. Back in the 90s, as a teen mom, I read a zine by another Brooklyn mom who told it straight—her struggles, her wins, the raw truth. I don’t remember her name, but I remember how her words made me feel less alone. That’s the spirit I want to keep alive here.

I’m a multifaceted person living a dynamic life—32 years and counting as an active parent, while building, creating, and working in ways that keep evolving with me. I do have my business socials, but this is the place where it all meshes together and I can feel whole. No boxes, no curated separation—just the real overlap of my businesses, passions, endeavors, creativity, and community in my life.
